Assess Organization/Position

We collect and review pertinent information to provide easy-to-use data on market trends, analysis, sector prospects and also salary/ compensation indicators.

Armed with these tools, we set about conducting interviews with the client’s key constituents to expand our understanding of the organization’s management style and culture as well as the professional and personal attributes of the ideal candidate.

Develop Position Specification/Candidate Profile

We create a position specification which describes the organization, position, reporting relationships and responsibilities in addition to the education, experience and attributes sought.

Develop and Initiate Search Strategy

Pyramid conducts “fresh” and original research for each assignment it undertakes. Our research department develops a list of target organizations where focused search efforts are undertaken and  names, titles, and telephone numbers of prospective candidates and sources sought and maintained. These executive searches are multifaceted, encompassing traditional research, data mining, internet sourcing, referrals, and direct contacts.

Candidature Analysis Report


At the end of seven working days, a meeting is held to present our search status/candidature report. This unique and confidential report contains a brief, yet detailed, written summary of each individual we have contacted during the course of the search to date, as well as a detailed profile on the shortlisted candidates. This report has proven to be an extremely valuable management tool. In an era where time is of essence, we are aware that the client is not always available for sifting through reams of paper. Rather, it is at a glance that he needs to be apprised of a scenario giving a complete overview. Our this report serves the purpose by:

Outlining industry and marketplace trends

Defining the unique positioning of the client organization within this maze

Evaluating the competitive landscape

Suggesting specific initiatives that can positively impact client’s image, ranking within the industry as it draws, retains and aligns HR talent to its overall objectives

Candidate Interviews – Pyramid Methodology

This phase provides the key to our operating methods. We personally present a confidential report for each of the final candidates. Initially meetings between client and candidates can take place either at the client’s site or at our own offices. Our offices are discrete and, by meeting there, we can assure adequate protection of our candidates, until a final mutual decision is agreed.

Check References/Investigate Background

It is our practice to directly contact superiors, peers, and subordinates of current and past employers of the final candidate(s). The reference checks verify factual data and report achievements, explore strengths and weaknesses, and provide insights into personal and professional style and other attributes.

Follow-Up

Pyramid maintains contact with the successful candidate and his or her immediate superior to provide support, particularly during the integration period to ensure satisfaction to all stakeholders.
